I was lucky enough to see C.O.C. many times at CB's Animosity and Technocracy era. Plus, I interviewed Reed for my high school newspaper!Mighty Highhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04013303221227590440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13852175.post-80509683271202850122010-07-28T17:16:00.545-07:002010-07-28T17:16:00.545-07:00Dealing With It is just one of the all-time great ...Dealing With It is just one of the all-time great recordings of pure angst, just for the recording of them verbally duking it out in the basement with Dad. COC left their imprint and I like both eras, but DRI was very important for multiple reasons.Ray Van Horn, Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13614522170335864253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13852175.post-20558808834900162382010-07-28T07:12:51.859-07:002010-07-28T07:12:51.859-07:00C.O.C.C.O.C.Heffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13396114362826135207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13852175.post-71476637746974345382010-07-27T14:06:04.696-07:002010-07-27T14:06:04.696-07:00I don't think you can ignore the Pepper Keenan...I don't think you can ignore the Pepper Keenan era. Dealing with it is also one of the top metal/hardocre albums ever. Okay that's one against two. I think both band's debuts are close to each other. Four of a kind and Violent Pacification are way better than anything COC did after Technocracy. I am going to go with DRI in a close one.Metal Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18400759786407810475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13852175.post-74882094137434298712010-07-27T10:00:04.541-07:002010-07-27T10:00:04.541-07:00COC as long as I can pretend that Pepper Keenan do...COC as long as I can pretend that Pepper Keenan doesn't exist. Actually, my pick is based on two short records (Animosity and Technocracy), but both are among the very best metal/hardcore crossover albums ever.bob_vinylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08414008312753058491noreply@blogger.com
