Apparently G-n-R showed up in New York last night and played their first show in three and a half years. There are some pictures from the show here.

*ARRRGGH * he makes my blood boil.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Pixie. Sorry that Axl makes your blood boil.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I have had G&R songs playing in my mind all week. This is very cool. I am not sure why so many people dislike Axl, I choose to remain ignorant.
ReplyDeleteAxl may be a peckerhead but he has aged pretty decent.
ReplyDeleteI think he's had a little nip/tuck along the way...
ReplyDeleteHi MM... haven't been to bloggy world in a while to leave my comment 'rounds' - hope your well.
ReplyDeleteamy
bar bar a-A lot of people talk about Axl, but aparently these four shows in New York sold out in minutes. So someone still likes him.
ReplyDeletefuzz and Bruce-Bruce is right. I saw a picture of Axl up close when he showed up at a basketball game a few years ago. His face had that stretched look that comes from surgery.
Amy-Thanks for stopping by.
If GnR would just sell out for one year like the Crue did - and tour with the original lineup, they'd be able to pack for the Carribean and not look back forever...
ReplyDeleteGuyts, he has had lots of nips n tucks , he looks like Micky Rourke and what on earth is with the hairstyle ???
ReplyDeletehmt-I agree with that for sure. Actually if Axl could just get Slash and Duff to join him then that would be enough.
ReplyDeleteVolkher-Yes, but let's see if he can stay on schedule for the rest of this brief tour.
Pixie-A lot of people close to Axl during the 1990's said he had a bad fear of going bald. I wondered if it's easier to hide hair extensions by doing it in dreadlocks rather than straight hair?
Hmm I love the idea behind this website, very unique.
