Ten things that you will probably never hear me say (or see me write).
1)That's da bomb.
2)Iron Maiden are overrated.
3)I respect Vince Neil and Axl Rose a lot.
4)Van Halen were so much better without that Roth guy.
5)It's too loud.
6)Judas Priest should have made more albums like Turbo.
7)Man, that nu-metal is cool.
8)Vinyl wasn't so great.
9)That Brian Johnson sure can sing.
10)I am glad I am over that heavy metal phase of my life.
You'll never hear me say, "Boy, Warrant sure were a trendsetter!"
ReplyDeleteI read this to Bob and we both laughed out loud.
ReplyDeleteWhat about da shizzle?
ReplyDeleteYou're funny Mr. Metal.
ReplyDeleteI heard JP on a a radio interview last night and thought of you. They were talking aobut that Joan Baez song they did...I think a caller asked them about it or something...
I would never say #9 either! Paired with, "Wow, that Brian Johnson sure is a looker. And I bet he smells great too."
ReplyDeleteHey Mark...love the new look dude. Pixie- you go girl!
ReplyDeletePixie rocked your template, dude.
ReplyDeleteYou'll never hear me say that "I'm fanatic about progressive metal"
ReplyDeletenice template. you got one for me too?
Bruce-That's funny because in my first draft of this number 9 was "Warrant rock". Then I heard AC/DC on the radio and I changed it.
ReplyDeleteLinda-They all came easy.
Fuzz-I wouldn't know a shizzle if it sat down next to me.
Ranea-So they say.
Bar bar a-I like Judas Priest a lot, but Turbo was just a big mistake in an overall great career.
Ben-I won't be using those either.
Beckeye-That was funny and those statements can probably be said for anyone who has been in AC/DC, but I am still a fan.
Phantasmak-I am not huge on progressive metal either other than some of Dream Theater's earlier material. My most current post tells about who did my new template.
The statement I had at number 10 is actually something I have said as a joke several times over the years. It actually comes from something I heard two classmates talking about way back in high school and from something my father said to me when I was 18. I will try to work those two stories into a post sometime soon.
