I just heard about this, but it happened a couple of days ago so things may have cleared up since then. It seems that Queensryche were arrested at the Amsterdam airport for carrying illegal firearms. Geoff Tate's wife is saying that her husband uses a prop gun in the band's stageshow. The original article is here from Knac.

Even though it's a prop you'd think the band would have thought that maybe it's not worth carting it around airports just in case of a misunderstanding. That would have been my thought, but maybe that's just me.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think the gun would've been with all the rest of the stage stuff. Obviously Geoff knew there might be a problem, otherwise he wouldn't have said anything.
