I can't believe it, but Judas Priest's Screaming for vengeance is twenty-five years old this year.

You have heard "You got another thing comin" over and over and you have probably heard "Electric Eye" many times so let's give some of the others a chance.

So your choices are:

-Bloodstone

-Pain and pleasure

-Devil's Child

***Which one do you choose?

  1. "Screaming For Vengeance" is a great album. Probably my favorite from Priest.
"Devil's Child" is one of my all-time favorite Priest songs, so I'll go with that.

  3. Let's make it three votes for "Devil's Child." I like all three, but it's my favorite of them.

  4. I'll take Bloodstone. I like the drum sound and Halford's vocals on that one.

    Wow...25 years...that's impossible...that would make me....gulp!!! 40!!! :0

This is a hard one...the hardest one you've done so far...all three are great songs...but I'm going to have to go with Devil's Child too...

I'm not the biggest Priest guy. But I would say Pain and Pleasure because I always liked Halford's singing on the chorus (you give me PAIN, but you bring me PLEASURE). I've always thought of Priest and Maiden as being the Beatles and Stones of metal, in that, most metal fans I knew were either Priest guys or Maiden guys. Was this just a figment of my feeble mind?

  8. ray gillen-I don't know about that. Most people I knew either liked both or neither. Of course most people that liked both still prefered one over the other. You should be able tell which I liked more by my avatar.

Yeah, you're probably right, but I remember one of the best arguments at lunchtime in Jr. High was Maiden vs. Priest. Also, Eddie Van Halen vs. Yngwie, Brian Johnson vs. Bon Scott, and Motley Crue vs. Ratt. Those seemed to be our biggest debates.
