When I was in college I had a friend who got a free CD at a local show. I don't recall the name of the band, but it sounded like third rate Alice in Chains. Anyway my friend used it as a coaster for his drink . Not that he cared about making water rings on the table, but rather he thought it was funny to do that to a CD that he thought was terrible.
**Do you have any Cd's in your collection that you think are so bad that they should be used as coasters?
KISS - The Elder. Had to have it as part of the collection, but as every one knows this CD BLOWS! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAbout 10 years ago when I was a single man, I'd used the colorful AOL CDs that I got almost every day in the mail as coasters! LOL!

ReplyDeleteThere was a rap-metal band called Propper Grounds back in the 90's. I found the CD at a used shop for $2. Ended up kicking the CD around the driveway, all the while praying that they'd never make another one. They didn't (thank God!)

ReplyDeleteDschalek-I have heard of Rogue Male. What I remember of them (other than bad haircuts) was that the UK press seemed to love them while the American press thought they stunk.
