Metallica hands down. But again, Justice for All is one of my all time favorte albums, so I'm biased too..And I've played One on Guitar Hero 3 so many times just because I want to be Kirk Hammett...
I hate the dated, stylized artwork on the Ratt cover. And Justice for All, as bad as it is musically, is a decent cover. I like how they chose very un-metal colors. It was kind of bold. I think the music would like to be bold as well, but instead is pretentious.
Both were disappointing covers. The Justice cover could have had more of an edge, although I didn't mind it. Ratt's cover is too stylized, as Bob notes. Too random.
Metallica, but then again I may be baised

ReplyDeleteThe Ratt one is cluttered and the Metallica one is very flat and dull. I 'll go with Ratt because I like the colors more.
ReplyDeleteWhile I have a bias as well I would choose Metallica. While it's not there best artwork, it's no too bad.
ReplyDeleteGotta go with Metallica. Ancient and dark.

ReplyDeleteI like Metallica's cover. Simple and to the point. Ratt's is too busy and I'm not sure what they're getting at.
ReplyDeleteI would go for Metallica, their one is less "artsy".
