Sometimes a band just uses a simple logo on their cover and that's what we have this week. So it is... Twisted Sister-You can't stop rock n' roll (1983)
Somehow the Whitesnake cover always made me think it was some little out of the way corner on the wall in the background of Black Sabbath's Mob Rules cover. One of the unbloodied parts of course. I think the simplicity of the Twisted Sister cover works much better.
I have always LOVED the Whitesnake cover. It has a simple design, and the cracked-stone illusion gives it a subtle medieval feel. Godo stuff.
ReplyDeleteTS is just blah.

ReplyDeleteThe Twisted Sister cover looks cheap, but better cheap than cheesy.

ReplyDeleteI agree with David, the Whitesnake stone feel with the stain effect is really nice
