I'm not that keen on either cover, but I'll pick Sanctuary. Spiritual Healing doesn't look like a metal album at all, except for the logo...I can't work out whether that's weird in a good or bad way. So I'll stick with Sanctuary, I feel like I know where I am with that one.
Both covers unveil the main theme... madness. Both main characters are portrayed as sinister/evil. As for logos it's a tie... as for overall art... it's still a tie.
Alright, I'll choose the Death cover... there tends to be more realism with it's morbid portrayal of a fake preacher, this portrayal has more relevance to the nightly news than the Sanctuary cover.

ReplyDeletetough one to call. it's a tie.
ReplyDeleteas for the content, the sanctuary wins.

great clash, Mark...I'll go with Death
ReplyDeleteI like both. I'll go with Sanctuary because I prefer the background.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to for the music I would go with Death.
They're both pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI'd give the "Death" one the edge based on the "social comment" factor.
