  3. Anonymous-Actually Testament against Overkill a few months ago.

For this battle it's actually tighter now than say ten years ago. Since then Exodus have put out some good albums and Anthrax have played musical chairs with their singers and recorded very little. Still Anthras have more great albums so I'll go with them.

  4. In Ironic Twist, Anthrax are Vaccinated for H1N1

NEW YORK, NY— Filling up the waiting room with big metal hair, ripped blue jeans and giant sneakers, members of the metal band, Anthrax, frightened many of the other patients as they entered the Manhattan Medical Center of Manhattan over the weekend, looking to get vaccinated for the H1N1 virus. After surprising Dr. Phillip...

  5. EXODUS all the way. Bonded By Blood is such a classic.

The only Anthrax tape I actually like is Fistful of Metal.

Even back in "the day" I would take EXODUS over Anthrax. EXODUS now... forget about it... game over... EXODUS has been tearing it up with "Tempo Of The Damned", "Shovel Headed Kill Machine" and both the "Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B - The Human Condition". Whoa.

"Bonded By Blood" and "Fabulous Disaster" alone are enough for me to choose EXODUS. "Spreading The Disease" and "Among The Living" are unreal great albums from Anthrax... with "Fistful Of Metal" being influential. I won't discount those albums.

Gary Holt has been on a roll and is THE most unsung Thrash Metal guitarist of our generation. He's a Metal workaholic right now. He hasn't been wasting his time lately!

  9. I'd have to say Anthrax, though not without some qualifiers. Anthrax is a lot more versatile, i.e. their experiments with Public Enemy, and the vocal isn't as one-dimensional as a lot of Exodus. This said, I still love me a crunching Exodus tune, their riffs are killer and the drums are tasty and unpredictable. I'm also not the biggest fan of Anthrax's goofy clowny stuff. . .always thought that was attention getting garbage they really didn't need. Oh, and yeah, Testament crushes both these bands.
