Lillian Axe have yet again found a new singer? Last I had heard they had enlisted Ronny Munroe to fill the spot. It's just way to difficult these days to keep up with all the various line-up changes that go on in the world of music especially when it comes to eighties hard rock bands. So, it looks as if Lillian Axe are going with Brian Jones as their new lead vocalist now. Brian Jones has been vocalist for the bands Guns Of Addiction and Full Moon Circus already as well as playing guitar for Wind-up Artist and Papercut Massacre. Does he have the pipes to put Lillian Axe back on top? Well, probably not (I'm not sure they can ever reclaim that glory) but he does have a good voice for Lillian Axe's brand of hard rock. Steve Blaze (as usually) is amazing on the guitar as well. Color me impressed. This is a pretty solid single we've got here from Big Easy's one and only favorite glam metal band. It's got a smoldering sound that reminds me of Lillian Axe of old while still sounding fresh enough to catch the attention of modern radio rock fans. I'm looking forward to seeing what these guys can do on the new album and if there is enough added energy thanks to Brian Jones addition to give these guys a boost.
