Truth Corroded-Worship The Bled

Truth Inc
2011

Having read quite a few positive reviews of Worship The Bled (the new album from Adelaide, South Australia's thrash metal band Truth Corroded) I was happy to find the album in my inbox a week or so ago. Granted the album has been out for awhile now but extreme metal like this is always a good thing so who cares really right? Let me start of by saying that other reviewers are quite right. If you like bands like Lamb Of God or The Haunted stop reading this review and just go pick up "Worship The Bled" because you'll love Truth Corroded. Formed in 1997 this is actually the forth full-length album for the band. In between there have been EPs, demos, a split and even a DVD release. The new album was mixed and mastered yet again by Jonas Kjellgren (Pexilated, Centinex, Scar Symmetry, World Below, Dellamorte, Sickinside, guest for Incapacity). Jonas plays lead guitar on the opening number "Knives of the Betrayed" and the album features studio drumming from Kevin Talley (Daath, Dying Fetus, Chimaira). On "Worship The Bled" Truth Corroded has provided us with 10 tracks of extreme thrash goodness. Sure there are elements of metalcore, melodic death and even a hint of black metal but for the most part this is prime, Grade A thrash. You just can't go wrong with this one folks.
