Lately I have been listening to these:
Jag Wire-Made in Heaven
Surrender-Better later than never (AOR, but I love this disc)
Motorhead-Kiss of death
Fu Manchu-We must obey
Tigertailz-Beserk
Testament-Practice what you preach (It had been a while since I heard this)
Force of evil-Black Empire
Malice-License to kill
***What are you listening to?
Lately I've been listening to nothing but the NFL Network but now that football is over I'll start listening to music again.
ReplyDeleteLately I've been listening to
ReplyDeleteGreat White-Once Bitten
The first Ace solo album back with KISS-thank's to Mark's review of his '87 release
Sebnem Ferah-a Turkish rock singer, she sounds like that chick from Evanesance, but she's been around in Turkey since '94. it's cool stuff, a mixture of Western rock with Turkish music
How The West Was Won-Led Zeppelin
This very second I'm listening to Anathema — A Fine Day to Exit.
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to Sten on Sirius at the moment. ;)
ReplyDeleteSteve~
I've been checking out classic metal/thrash with Testament's Practice what you preach and some Metal Church and Voivod
ReplyDeleteI watched "Operation: Livecrime" on Vh1 over the weekend, so I've been hooked on the Mindcrime cds.
ReplyDeleteLately it's been:
ReplyDeleteWASP - WASP & The Last Command
Rush - Hold Your Fire
Queensryche - The Warning (Take Hold of the Flame has to be one of the most underrated metal songs of all time...pure classic)
Peter Frampton, The Allman Bros, The Cult and Y&T. Strange, I know. must be the time of year.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of metal, I've been rekindling lately with Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden's "Run To The Hills" (I've been thinking how great it would be as a slowed down acoustic song- any versions exist?), some live downloads from Metallica that they're giving away at their site, and Megadeth's "High Speed Dirt".
ReplyDeleteStill the same lot as last time. I live too near to my work and I only listen in my car.
ReplyDeleteI've been listening to Kiss mostly since watching the Kissology DVD set last week.
ReplyDeleteHow is that Malice disc Mark? I always wondered if that band was any good.
ReplyDeletehard rock hideout- Malice were good, but they were just so much like Judas Priest. I wish on their second album that they had added more of their own sound. However they just stayed locked into sounding like Priest. Probably why they never got much notice.
ReplyDeleteVixen - Live & Learn (2007)
ReplyDeleteBlack Stone Cherry - s/t (2006)
Winger - IV (2006)
Legs Diamond - Town Bad Girl (1990)
.....and a bunch of obscure albums at Vibrations Of Doom website.
