Raven hands down for me. Venom was more influential with the whole black metal thing, but I never could get into them.
Venom, if only for their Calm Before the Storm and 2 non-Cronos album.
Between 1985 and 1991 I was a huge Venom fan. Times have changed though. I still think the first two albums are great, but so much after that except for maybe Prime Evil. Everything Raven did before siging with Atlantic was very good to great including the live album. And most of their stuff from about 1988 on have been good. So I'll take Raven.
