What is your favorite album by the following bands?
Black Sabbath
Motley Crue
Anthrax
Def Leppard
Deep Purple
Mine:
Black Sabbath-Sabbath, bloody sabbath. Although sometimes it changes and I may say Volume four or the debut.
Motley Crue-Too fast for love. Love that raw sound and the cowbell.
Anthrax-It's a tough choice, but Spreading the disease.
Def Leppard-Pyromania, but High and dry is close.
Deep Purple-In rock. The cover is great as well.

Can I just ditto your list except for Antrax I have no fave and Def I do prefer High and Dry.
Black Sabbath- Paranoid
Motley Crue- Shout at the Devil
Anthrax- don't have one
Def Leppard- Pyromania
Deep Purple- Machine Head
Black Sabbath - tied between Black Sabbath & Master of Reality
Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
Antrax - I'm the Man
Def Leppard - toss up between High n Dry and On Through the Night
Deep Purple - Perfect Strangers
Black Sabbath: While I will probably get stoned for this, my favorite Sabbath album is Mob Rules. While it may not contain all of the classic Ozzy tracks, I tend to listen to this CD more than any other Sabbath. I was just listening to it this morning! If I had to pick an Ozzy-era album too, I would say Masters of Reality.
Motley Crue: Not one of my favorite bands but I did like Shout At The Devil when it came out.
Anthrax: Probably Persistance of Time.
Def Leppard: Again, not a big fan of their later stuff so I would have to go with Pyromania.
Deep Purple: Machine Head
Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell
Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love (Shout is a close 2nd)
Anthrax - probably Among The Living
Def Leppard - High'n Dry & Pyromania (tie)
Deep Purple - In Rock (House Of Blue Light 2nd)
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
Anthrax - I was never really into them.
Def Leppard - Pyromania
Deep Purple - I only have a greatest hits collection, so it wouldn't be fair for me to comment.
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Motley Crue - Dr. FeelGood
Anthrax - Among The Living
Def Leppard - High n Dry
Deep Purple - Never liked them
These short topics are giving me some time to prepare my topics for next week's big Iron Maiden week. I will probably post another one of these favorite album things up later this week.
Black Sabbath- Volume 4
Motley Crue-Too Fast For Love
Anthrax-State of Euphoria
Deep Purple- toss up between Machine Head and Perfect Strangers Machine Head because, well the Album kicks ass and Perfect strangers because 1) great sound and 2) I would crank it to "11" on the old walkman to drown out my brothers constant questions...sheesh...
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Motley Crue - Nahhhh
Anthrax - Nahhh
Def Leppard - First two; rest ... nahhh
Deep Purple - Gosh, too many of them. The remastered and expaneded "Made in Japan" would be my choice right now, because it's playing.
The only of the groups on your list I listen to is Def Leppard and I'd have to concur about Pyromania (and much like with you, High and Dry comes in a close 2nd).... I also like Slang but that's more for the darkly personal lyrics than for the music.
Perplexio-Welcome. I actually liked Slang more than I thought I would.
Black Sabbath - Volume 4
Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
Anthrax - Spreading the Disease
Def LEppard - High N Dry
Deep Purple - PErfect Strangers
BLACK SABBATH - Headless Cross
MOTLEY CRUE - Dr. Feelgood
ANTHRAX - We've Come For You All
DEF LEPPARD - High 'N' Dry
DEEP PURPLE - House Of Blue Light
