I have been listening to a bunch of new stuff lately.
The Answer - Rise disc is hanging big on my playlist. This band is pretty damn good. They reminded me of the Black Crows as first but there is so many Zepplin and Aerosmith elements. I am really digging them.
Broke out Gotthard's Lipservice again. That is another killer disc in my collection.
That Dream Evil United disc has some killer heavy stuff on it.
Just put a new batch of CD's in my car :
Manowar - Hell on Earth
Life, Sex & Death - Silent majority
Suicidal Tendencies - Join the Army
Suicidal Tendencies - FreeDumb
Suicidal Tendencies - Lights, Camera... Revolution
Black Sabbath - Vol 4
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Soul Asylum - Black Gold, Best Of
Helloween - The Time of the Oath
That Life, Sex, & Death Cd is GREAT! I love that one!
I've been doing a lot of writing lately and created a play list to get me in the mood...story takes place in the late 80's, so there's a lot of RATT, DLR - Eat 'Em and Smile, Dokken (Tooth and Nail & Under Lock and Key) just to name a few...
The new FU is coming out soon. Do you dig Clutch at all? They have a new one due in March.
I'm still spinning the new Maiden too. What a great CD it turned out to be.
Fred-I have a few Clutch cd's, but I rarely listen to them. The music is okay, but I am not so big on the vocals.
Clicking in from Day to Day Rambling...WOW. One look at the name of your blog and I HAD to click.
I may be old and have tons of kids but that 80's Metal hold runs deep! I'll be back. :O)
I am afraid to list what I'm currently listening to...
Let's jsut say that 80's Metal bands don't make an apperance. ;)
Steve~
Anne-Welcome.
Steve-You can tell us. We won't laugh. Okay, we might laugh a little.
Especially if you say Michael Jackson! ;)
Tool- Aenima
Jonny Lang- Long Time Coming
Queensryche- O:M I
Rockdog : Yes it was one awesome album and probably always one of my top albums ever made. It is a pity they mad no more. PS i love that stage of Van Halen it would probably never return. It's a pity I took it for granted at that stage.
I just got the advance of the new Fu Manchu album and will report in as soon as I've heard it. Otherwise...
Pelican - Austrailasia
Paul Gilbert - Get Out of My Yard
Brian Setzer - Rockabilly Riot
Titan - A Raining Sun...
Lordi - The Arockalypse
Accept - Balls to the Wall
Neurosis - A Sun That Never Sets
AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Novembre - Materia
Novembers Doom - The Novella Reservoir
and Fred, I love Clutch and eagerly salivating for the new disc... Robot Hive was killer
