What's coming up?
It's going to be difficult to adjust to no football (no the pro bowl does not count as real football) this weekend. This week I hope to have out the following.
Interviews with...
Kim Hooker of Tigertailz
Gein of Gein and the graverobbers
Reviews of...
Aces Wyld-Wyld Tonight
Tarja-My winter storm
Scarlet Violet-Ready to rock
Thieves and Liars-When dreams become reality
and maybe a vinyl spotlight or a judge the album cover as well.
***Here is a question for you although it may only be me that thinks about things like this. What year in the 1980's do you think was the best of that decade for hard rock and metal?

The best year for metal/hard rock in the 80s?
Easily, 1984. Let's have a look at the albums from that year:
- Powerslave (the best Maiden album IMO)
- Hail to England and Sign of the Hammer (my favourite Manowar albums)
- Don't Break the Oath (Mercyful Fate)
- Ride the Lightning (Metallica)
- 1984 (Van Halen)
- Stay Hungry (Twisted Sister)
- Balls to the Wall (Accept)
- WASP(WASP)
- Perfect Strangers (awesome comeback from Deep Purple)
- The Last in Line (Dio)
- Warning (Queensryche)
- Live at the Inferno (Raven)
- Love at First Sting (Scorpions)
- Crusader (Saxon)
- Slide it in (Whitesnake)
And we must not forget that artists like Def Leppard, Ozzy, Motley and Judas were still enjoying strong popularity from the great albums they released the previous year...
Damn good times...
Luiz-I agree completely. I would also add these to that list.

Armored Saint-March of the saint
Saint Vitus-s/t
Anthrax-Fistful of metal
Lizzy Borden-Give 'em the axe
Black -n- Blue-s/t
Trouble-Psalm 9
Grim Reaper-See you in hell
Exciter-Violence and force
