What's coming up?
So the first week of the NFL season came and went. Tom Brady's season ending injury may very well change the outlook of the AFC. However only a couple of AFC teams played worth a crap last week. The Broncos have to play a real team this weekend although the Chargers are a little banged up. Hurricane season continues, the presidential race is heating up and I guess it's begun to feel a little like Autumn here and there. I am trying to keep up with my kids, work and reviews and what not to the best of my ability. I have begun to figure out my top 25 albums of 2008 so I won't be scurrying to compile it all in December. Of course it will be a work in progress so that if good albums come out here in the final months of the year then I can just insert them into the list and adjust the rest accordingly. Anyways, this week I hope to have these topics out.

Worth a crap = Steelers.
With Brady hurt, the talking football heads are calling the Steelers the team to beat this year. I like it better when we're the scrappy underdogs. Now we're just gonna have to take a bunch of shit from the press.
beckeye-It's early anything could happen.
Steelers have a long road ahead of them. Toughest schedule in the league. With the way the division looks, they should be able to take it if everyone remains pretty healthy.
Mark, where is Denver's defense? The O looks great but they can't keep letting peple score at will.
Sean-They have not addressed the defense like they should over the last say three seasons. They are patching it together with past their prime veterans and other team's hand me downs. I picked them to finish 8-8 this year so I won't be surprised should the defense's gaps be exploited on numerous occasions this year.
