Too close to call on this one. I think they both stand out and have striking features to them. My initial, knee jerk reaction had me leaning towards Obituary . . . so, with a gun to my head and I had to choose.

Man, good battle! Obituary is a really good album, but the horror hound in me will go with Merciless
Obituary. I like the angle. The Merciless Death is well done skill wise, but typical and kind of flat.
