It's so '80s. So of course I like it.
Damn you, Mark, I've been on a Twisted Sister kick since late last week after reviewing their upcoming DVD "The Video Years," and can't get "You Can't Stop RNR" outta my player. What strange karma to find this post today...
Never was that fond of the cover, but like Dee says, they'd turned to sex selling TS, which didn't work, and neither does this cover.
Hey I love that cover. Was one of the last LP's I bought. Some nice songs on it too although not as strong as Stay Hungry.
If you take a look at their five studio albums, this is probably the best cover. I like it, wouldn't be able to get away with it today. Too bad the album is weak and the cover is wasted.
I dislike the cover almost as much as the album. It's going for 'sexy" but hitting "blah" instead, and that's not good.

I think it tries a little too hard to be provocative.
I like the cover. I just got that album a couple of weeks ago....very good.
I think it's okay. I always like the TS logo, but the rest of it just doesn't seem like them.
Eh..it's just okay. It can't compete with the over the top camp of Stay Hungry though, ha ha.
Reminds me of summers past as well. The lollipop is appropriate considering the music was sugar coated (but an improvement on Come Out and Play). It just didn't jibe with the Sister I had grown to love in the early 80's. From Dee brandishing a bloody bone to this?
The story I heard about this album (years after it's release) was that Twisted Sister were very scattered after the Come out and play tour ended because of lack of ticket sales. Dee Snider reportedly originally intended this album as a solo album. He hired a pre-Winger Reb Beach to play guitar and bass and Joey Franco to program the drum machine and recorded it that way. Apparently Atlantic wanted it as a Twisted Sister album so they slapped the band name on it and did a brief tour before breaking up.
it's a good fun album
From the God that are Twisted Sister..this cover was LAME. This had to be some PR rep's idea...No way Dee Snider or Mark "The Animal" thought this was a good idea! LOL!
it's a great cover and representative of the time
I think it's more of a Poison album cover than a Twisted Sister. I don't love it.
I think it's a unique way to use a band logo, but the Capt. is probably right: trying too hard to be provocative.

I've never heard the album itself, but I've always been curious about it. The cover was very unlike them, and I also remember they dropped the make-up around this time. Didn't know about the Dee solo thing, though.
All I remember was seeing the album in the summer of '87, then reading that they'd broke up about a month later.
Terrible. And the sucker looks like a rip-off. There's hardly any candy to it.
Its a good album cover, really fits the 80's style.
