Who should have made a live album?
So is there anyone you wish would have made a live album, but didn't? Or is there anyone currently around that you wish would make a live album?
-I wish Van Halen had done a live album with David Lee Roth.
-I wish there was a better live AC/DC with Bon Scott other than "If you want blood, you got it".
-I wish that there was a live Armored Saint album from say 1985 or 1987, but I may be the only person interested in that.

I agree that it's a shame that Van Halen didn't do a live album with Diamond Dave.
Most bands I'm thinking of have live albums but one band that doesn't is U2, they have plenty of live DVD's but no albums. They put on an amazing show and sound great, it would be nice to have an album from them.
I'm with you on the VH, though DLR's vocals were pretty spotty in the live videos I've seen from those shows (I sadly missed the chance to see the real VH live in person). I'm not sure I'd want to have that memorialized.
I wish Cinderella had done a live album in their prime (first three albums).
Finally, it would have been nice to have a good Def Leppard live album after Pyromania with most of that album and its predecessor.

Oh, and on another Maiden note ... I don't know how I missed it earlier, but the cover art and track listing for the forthcoming album can be seen here:

I haven't been to big on live albums but I have to say that I love all of these live DVDs that are coming out. Bruce Dickinson just released a nice set and Motorhead just put out Stage Fright. I have to pick that up.
I would love to see some vintage Kiss concerts released on DVD. Maiden did a great job with that Early Years DVD.
Fuzz-That was one thing that Diamond Dave said he pushed for during the 1984 tour, but the Van Halens were not interested in doing one.
Jeff-That's surprising about U2. There must be some reason for it.
David-A live show from the Pyromania tour would have been great. I would also like to see a show from the High and dry tour when they were opening for Ozzy or maybe their Monsters of rock set from 1986.
Fred-I think it was on the old Kiss Xposed vhs where they showed a few live clips from 1982 in Brazil (I think it was) and they were wild. I would like to see that entire concert.
I'm with you on the Van Halen thing. I wonder if they have any regrets about it.
I always pined for a live album from Warrant... ;)
Onmywatch-Probably only Dave since the band went on to do a live video the next tour anda live album in 91.
Bruce-Oh, then you're the one.
