Current playlist and a question

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Lately I have been listening to:
Lots of Rush
Lots of KISS
Lots of Tigertailz
Judas Priest-Painkiller
Motorhead-Sacrifice
Kublai Khan-Annihilation
Cry Wolf- Crunch

****Here's a question for you. Let's say you get to unload a cd you were not happy with. Let's say you have the chance to return any one cd and get back exactly what you paid for it. It has to have been something you bought new not used and it has to have been purchased in the last two years. Do you have a cd you would return?

First, great playlist. I haven't heard anyone mention Kublai Khan since the old days. I don;'t have a copy so I'm going to listen to it at Vibrations Of Doom.

My CD would be Aerosmith - Honkin' On Bobo. I forget the year but I bought it new the day it came out. That one or the new Vixen album I bought last week.

Well, there's that wretched ELO CD, Discovery. It's Verydisco. Ugh.

I would return Bongzilla's Amerijunican. I was listening to a lot of stoner music at the time and bought this steaming dog turd. It's stoner rock, but very basic and completely boring.

I haven't bought a cd for myself in over two years. I do buy plenty of them as gifts for my wife though.

I'd have to say Judas Priest - Angel of Retribution. There were a couple of cool songs, but for the most part I found it boring. There is a nice 13 minute snoozer that kills me every time it pops up on my play list.

I tried returning Rockstar Supernova but the clerk pulled a shotgun on me. Any takers?

Btw, the Painkiller album I bought in highschool after reading a review in the school newspaper which said, "Only Satanists would enjoy this album." While not a Satanist, I figured it would be pretty good. I was right.

I must admit "Reise Reise" from Rammstein. Although some good songs were on it it was a major dissapointment to me after "Mutter"... It does grow on you but hell I expected better !

Yeah, I think I'd return that "All that Remains" CD-bought it for my husband and he didn't like it that much I think he meant to get another one... As far as the Painkiller album goes, that one Rocks out with its Cock out!

For me, it would probably be Michael Schenker Group - Tales of Rock N Roll and Ozzy Undercover at the same time.

I got little enjoyment from either of these.

Hardrock hideout-Kublai Khan was Greg Handevidt's band. He was an original member of Megadeth around 1984. He left to go back to Minnesota where he formed Kublai Khan. Chris Poland replaced him in Megadeth. Several songs on Kublai Khan have an early Megadeth sound.

Gee...I'm very cheap (with money!) so I don't typically buy an entire CD unless I know it's something I really want or will enjoy.

However, I did buy my husband The Fray "How to Save a Life" for Christmas.

I felt dirty just holding that disc at the checkout counter! It lives in his car, never allowed to come near my music collection!

Cheers-
Allyson

I'd return the Morbid Angel CD I got. That stuff's just unlistenable.

I'll keep this question in mind as I go through my CD Shelf Cleanup Project I've been blogging about the past couple of weeks. Right now, nothing's triggering, but I know it's happened enough times.

With listening stations and itunes sampling I tend to avoid buying anything I can't enjoy. However in years past there were some which is why I'm adamant about listening stations.
