Anniversary and fill-in the blanks
Today is my wedding anniversary. Which means my wife has somehow managed to put up with me for eight years. I am glad she has though because life with her has been way better that it was before she came into my life.
Here are some fill in the blanks for you.
1)The most consistant hard rock/metal band of all time is____________________.
2)The most inconsistant hard rock/metal band of all time is____________________.
3)The band I would most like to see live in 2007 is _________________________.

Congratulations on eight years, I have been with my wife nine and life just keeps getting better.
1. Iron Maiden
2. GNR
3. Rush
Congratulations Mark. Does she like metal and hard rock as much as you do?
Not sure about consistent.
2. As far as inconsistent I'd have to say AC/DC I'm afraid since Bon's death all those years ago.
3. Metallica at Wembley would be nice, or even the Van Halen Reunion.
1)Most consistant-Motorhead, Rush and the Scorpions
2)Inconsistant-Kiss
3)Rush
Captain Corky-My wife is not into metal. She really doesn't listen to that much music.
Congrats on 8 - I am actually going for my 10th on the 12th of April
1. Boston (widely spaced albums and music stays consistent) and I'd agree Motorhead. Scorpions maybe except for the Eye 2 Eye album.
2. GNR
3. Old Nightwish (Saw their Live DVD the other day and it was awesome) but otherwise Rammstein.
Happy Anniversary...
I would love to see Guns & Roses live.
1. Rush
2. G n' R
3. Rush
Happy Anniversary to you guys! It is hard to believe that it has been that long!
Happy Anniversary!
I've been married a little over four years myself.
As for your questions:
1)The most consistant hard rock/metal band of all time is the Rolling Stones.
2)The most inconsistant hard rock/metal band of all time is Guns n Roses.
3)The band I would most like to see live in 2007 is Motley Crue (naturally)!
Congrats Mark!
Happy anniversary friend - a date you share with both my birthday and in 1982 Iron Maiden being number one with The Number Of The Beast! To answer your questions...
1) Thunder
2) Status Quo
3) Whitesnake (with a revamped set and a stonking new album).
btw I've been married 15 years next month so you can be a family man and a metal fan ;-)

Happy Anniversary, Mark!
1. Led Zeppelin
2. Guns 'N Roses
3. Does it have to be a hard rock band? I really want to see Squeeze this year on their reunion tour! :)
Congrats on the anniversary.
CONGRATS!! Keep up the good marital (not martial) work!!
1) The most consistant hard rock/metal band of all time is Motorhead.
2)The most inconsistant hard rock/metal band of all time is Guns N' Roses.
3)The band I would most like to see live in 2007 is Van Halen circa 1978.
But since that won't happen, I'll settle for my Rush show.

Congrats Mark!
1. AC/DC
2. GnR
3. Dokken
I would say:
1. AC/DC tied w/ Motorhead
2. GNR
3. Heaven and Hell (Already have tickets)
Happy Anniversary! I'm working on 7 years.
Happy anniversary!
1. Ozzy
2. GnR
3. Like David, since VH isn't touring, I have to say the Police.
I have to say that allyson's answer for most consistent cracked me up! I guess I was assuming that Mark was asking for most consistently good band, but it's an interesting spin to pick the Stones who've been consistently bad for the last 30 years. That was pretty clever allyson!
1) Iron Maiden. They haven't been perfect, but considering their longevity, I don't think many bands come close.
2) There are just too many bands to choose from. I might pick Megadeth, but more as a contender than an absolute.
3) I think I'd probably most like to see Ted Leo.
As I read more comments, I see that allyson wasn't the only one to take the most consistently bad band angle for question #1 as several of you clever people picked AC/DC. The joke was still funny the second time though.
bob-I am not big on most of the Brian Johnson AC/DC, but many people prefer him to Bon Scott so I am not surprised some people picked them.
Mark, do you think they were serious? I figured they must be joking by picking a consistently rotten band.
