FORGOTTEN GEMS: TROJAN-CHASING THE STORM
Roadrunner Records
1985
One and done. What a shame that is too. Formed in 1982 Trojan released their sole album in 1985. Part of the NWOBHM scene the band were more akin to acts like Venom and Avenger. In other words NWOBHM speed metal. Featuring the talents of guitarist Pete Wadeson and the vocals of Graeme Wyatt (who sounds a tad like Steve Grimmet of Grim Reaper) Trojan deserved more than just this one album. Check out the title track which rocks along. Tracks like "Hypnotized" and "Backstabber" offer power metal that slams around like a bull in a china shop. "Take No Prisoners" is another gem that gallops along proving these guys had what it took to compete with the likes of Jaguar and Satan (two similar speed tinged NWOBHM acts). Reissued on CD by Metal Mind Productions in 2007 Chasing The Dream was a late addition to the scene but one worth tracking down for serious heavy metal collectors!

Never heard of them. Love the cover though.
I will have to hook you up.
Never heard of 'em, but I did hear some Venom back in the day.
They don't really sound like Venom I was only using the anology as far as speed goes. Just cool heavy metal. Not too much unlike 80's metal here in the states. Mark, I think you'll like them.
I remember this one getting rave review in Kerrang! back in the day.
