Consider yourself fortunate if your into the sort of alternative/post-rock/garage rock of bands like Archers of Loaf and Drive Like Jehu. This EP is filled with that same sort of indie rock with a devil may care attitude. Post-hardcore, punk and garage rock are played with a serious sense of urgency making this 5-track affair both noisy and poetic. Music like this found a home on college radio stations back in the day when guitars could be loud and messy and the message was just as important as the fuzzed out wails coming through the speakers. It might be a hair rough around the edges and a little too steeped in nostalgia for some people and yet it all works itself out in the end and at only 5 songs it doesn't overstay it's welcome.
