Judge the album cover
Well, it's Quiet Riot's Metal Health from 1983. So do you like the cover, don't or is it just alright?

At the time, it seemed so menacing and crazy. Now it's dated and silly. I still kinda like it, but more due to nostalgia that anything else.
You could have put this up with Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind and Pat Benetar's Get Nervous which also have the straightjacket thing going on. Didn't Impaler or Piledriver have that too?
I actually like this cover..it always stuck out in my mind. It was pretty freaky.
It's a little dated, but not so much as to ruin my appreciation for it.
Bob-
Piledriver-No, straighjacket
Impaler-Yes, straightjacket
I knew it was one of those crazy bands!
I like the cover. I don't think it seems dated at all. But then I love covers with dragons and wizards on them so what do I know.
Yeah nice cover. Good album as well.
The cover is a classic. Yeah, there's a cheese factor, in retrospect, but that was the '80's metal scene.
Great cover . . . overall content, not so much.
By the way, great blog! Thanks for letting me contribute!
I've always loved this gonzo cover; it fit perfectly for the Friday the 13th generation and gave Dubrow his own little shtick
