Here are some simple questions for you about 80's metal/hard rock.

1-Who was the most underrated hard rock or metal band of the 1980's?

2-Who was the most overrated hard rock or metal band of the 1980's?

3-What 80's hard rock or metal album do you love that you think not many others have heard?

Good questions Mark and I've been thinking about this post for awhile. 1)Mox Nix-Their album is just killer straight up heavy metal. How they didn't make it I'll never know.

2)Yngwie Malmsteen-All fluff. Yes it was lightning fast and super technical. But it was also boring as shit.

3)Gotham City-Just a great NWOBHM/80's act that was huge overseas and yer nobody knows them here in America. Criminal!

1-tie between Armored Saint and Medieval. Cirith Ungol would be a strong contender too.

2-I second Yngwie Malmsteen. Total self-indulgent wankfests.

3-Medieval's Medieval Kills. Fantastic album that was years ahead of it's time.
