Night Fever-New Blood

Hailing from Copenhagen Night Fever plays an adrenaline fueled style of hardcore. Think early/mid 80's Boston style hardcore mixed in Motorhead infused riffs and you have a good idea of where this band is coming from. The playing is a bit more tight around the edges than 80's the 80's hardcore bands they are influenced by and the production is smoother as well. Okay, their ideas are not the most original. Yet where they really excel is in their energy on tracks like "This is Copenhagen", "Still Kicking" and "New Blood". There are eight songs on the album only one goes over three minutes so it's a brief outing that will leave you wanting more. Some of the tracks are a bit similar, but still likable. I played it four times and liked it a little more with each listen.

I love albums that pour everything they have in a short duration and then checks out.
