Number one
Here we are, the the end of my top 25 hard rock/metal guitarist countdown. Number one is of course...

Jimi Hendrix
Hendrix was an insanely brilliant player in tone and technical ability. He made it look so easy and did so much in a short period time. There were good players before him, but the guitar has not been the same since Jimi got ahold of it.
There you go.

talk about overrated? JH should have been in your top 5.
You are obviously confused. Hendrix did a lot for the guitar and no one has topped him since. Amazing player.
he was influential, sure. i respect what he did but along with jimmy page, i cringe when i hear them play.
That doesn't make sense to me.
Metalfiles probably doesn't like Hendrix, because he never got to hang out with him and find out what a nice guy he is.
