Twenty five or even twenty years I would have gone with Slayer. However Fistful of metal is one of those rare metal albums that I have liked more in recent years than I did in the 80's. Fistful of metal is a solid slab of early thrash so Anthrax for me.
I would have said the same thing Mark so that is kind of funny. I always loved Hell Awaits though these days Fistful Of Metal really fits in my life well. Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if Anthrax would have kept that line-up.
I saw Anthrax with that line-up. They opened for Raven and both bands absolutely killed! Fistful Of Metal for me.
