Combat Noise-Anthems of Carnage

Tridroid Records
2013

War-themed death metal/thrash? Yep, and this band from Ciudad de la Habana, Cuba knows how to do it proper. Formed in 1996, this is the kind of death metal usually found within the likes of Bolt Thrower, Cannibal Corpse or Morbid Angel only here, in it's darkest form,  it's with some of the heavier & harsher thrash metal moments committed to tape pasted over the death metal to make things nice and nasty! Fair warning that this band spits out raw and raging metal so this is for those of you looking for uglier death metal. With titles like "Raped By The Bayonets" and "Butchering The Spaniard Infantry" it's crystal clear what this Cuban act is all about. On tape (thanks to Tridroid Records) "Anthems of Carnage" takes on a underground 80's tape-trading vibe (now those were the days!) which brought back a flood of memories for this old metalhead. Definitely worth the pick up for death metal fanatics and war enthusiasts!
